Wilde (1997): This movie is already out and it was bigger in England. It is based on the life of Oscar Wilde.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001): This awesome movie is based on J.R.R. Tolkien's trilogy The Lord of the Rings books. Orlando's character in the movie is the Elf Legolas. A tall golden
haired Prince of Mirkwood forest. He is an archer and very good at it, and he is the eyes and ears of the Fellowship. Orlando had to have a lot of training for this movie, he had to learn horse back riding, swords play, archery, and how to move gracefully- "Almost cat like" -to be an elf, and how to speak the language of the Elves.
Black Hawk Down (2002): This movie is basically about never leaving a man behind. Orlando plays Todd Blackburn, a 18 year old soldier in the army who brakes his back, and becomes a man that must relay on the others to not leave him behind.
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002): This is the second half of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. This one definitely has a lot more action then the first, much more swords play, and whole lot more war. It also has some great comedy, maybe even funnier than the first. Legolas does a lot more sword fighting in this one, you know killing the evil Orcs. Orlando also has a lot more lines, and some in Elvish, which I loved.
Ned Kelly (2003): This is an action, drama film that is based on a true story about the infamous Australian outlaw Ned Kelly who is played by Heath Ledger. Orlando plays Joe Byrne, who is Ned Kelly's good friend, with his good looks and charm that made him popular with the ladies. Release date is May 30, 2003. Rated R for violence and brief nudity, directed by Gregor Jordan.
The Calcium Kid (2003): This is about a British milk man with a steel jaw who is plucked to serve as a replacement boxer in a title bout against the U.S. champ. Release date July 31 2003 (This is not officially confirmed).

Pirates of the Caribbean (2003): This movie is going to be based on the Disneyland ride of the same name. The director Jerry Bruckheimer promises a film the whole family can enjoy. It is going to be an action-adventure film and will be released July 19, 2003 in the U.S. and August 14, 2003 in the U.K. It tells a story of Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), who teams up with Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) to save the kidnapped daughter of the governor from a treacherous band of pirates led my the evil Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush). But of course no Pirate movie would be complete without bloodthirsty buccaneers, sword-fighting, and supernatural skeletons ;).
The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (2003): The Last of The Lord of the Rings trilogies. A lot is going to happen in this movie, and I'm really interested in how Peter Jackson is going to do it, should be very entertaining.
Troy (2004): Scheduled out May 14th: Hector (Eric Bana) is the Prince of Troy, who leads the Trojan army in holding off the entire Greek armada, led by Achilles (Brad Pitt). It is Hector's brother, Paris (Orlando Bloom), who steals the beautiful Helen away from her husband, Menelaus, the king of Sparta, and prompts the war between Greece and Troy.
Kingdom of Heaven: Orlando Bloom is to star in Kingdom of Heaven, an epic love story that he will shoot in Morocco beginning January 12 for 20th Century Fox. It takes place in 12th century Europe in the exotic Far East, during the time of the Crusades, it will be staged on a scale that will be slightly larger than Gladiator. Bloom will star as a young peasant who becomes a knight, saves a kingdom and falls in love with a princess. Planed to be released in 2005.
